Audio Interview with Jerry Young, DTM

I met Jerry Young in 1979 when I attended my first Toastmasters meeting. He has been an inspiration to me and many other people. Jerry lost his sight in an accident when he was 25 years old. In this conversation we talk about his life before the accident, the accident itself, and his life  since becoming completely blind.

I conducted this interview with Jerry in December 2012.

The story is:

In 1979 a women applied for membership in Lexington Toastmasters, but the club’s bylaws had not yet been revised to allow women to join the club.
